With over 10,000 Members pooling their savings you can access affordable credit (up to €20,000 over your shares) with no minimum savings or length of membership requirement. Joining Kilcloon Credit Union is the best decision you could make. New members are always welcome.

Who can join?

Anyone who lives, or works within the Kilcloon Credit Union's “common bond”. This does not just only include individuals and members of the same household, but sole traders, clubs and organisations and community groups.

At what age can I join?

You can join Kilcloon Credit Union at any age.

What about accounts for children and minors?

We would encourage parents to open accounts for their children/minors at an early age and to even save small amount each week or month. Grandparents can open accounts for their grandchildren too. They can be encouraged to save some of their pocket money or money they might get doing odd jobs. Opening a credit union account is a great way to teach them about the value of savings and thrift. And when they get older they may even have enough saved to put towards the cost of college fees, getting their first car, or travelling.
