
The 47th and 48th VIRTUAL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGS successfully held on 26th April 2021
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, and in order to protect the health and welfare of our members and staff, the Meetings were held virtually. We thank all those Members who participated. The Meetings were addressed by our Chairperson, Anne Tynan, who reported on an overall strong performance over the two years, which saw loan growth in excess of 21%, membership growth in excess of 5% and savings growth in excess of 12%. Anne also reported on excellent recoveries of long-standing bad debts and a strong reserve position at over 15.6%. She thanked the Members for their ongoing support, the CEO and staff for their dedication to providing a professional and friendly service to Members and their achievement in providing continuity of service during the pandemic. She also thanked the Board for their ongoing voluntary commitment to their oversight and governance responsibilities as required in accordance with regulation.
Kilcloon Credit Union has been loyally supporting its community since 1972, is on a growth path and is well placed to build on the success of the last two years. We look forward to continuing to provide the financial services our Members require and enhancing those services in the months and years ahead.
